About Me

After 35 years in Sales & Business Development, including 20 years in Sales Leadership roles, I founded Five Stones Advisors to serve Business Owners, CEOs, and Sales Leaders of small to mid-sized businesses by helping them to achieve profitable and sustainable revenue growth. I do this by implementing proven sales strategies, sales processes, sales team infrastructure development, accountability, and execution excellence.

With extensive experience delivering both increased revenue and stakeholder value for privately held and private equity-owned organizations, my mission as a Fractional CSO/Outsourced VP of Sales is to RESTORE HOPE to Business Owners, CEOs, and Sales Leaders by coming alongside you as a partner and guide.

Prior to launching Five Stones Advisors, I served as VP of Sales, M&A team member, and a significant contributor to the Board of Directors for a specialty chemical manufacturer. I was instrumental in overhauling their commercial organization, delivering revenue and EBITDA growth, defining and accelerating growth in a variety of key market segments, establishing five-year strategic plans, and successfully integrating multiple acquisitions that yielded significant inorganic growth for the company.

After graduating from Miami University (Ohio), I moved to Charlotte, and married the love of my life, Kristy, in 1992. With our two children grown and making their mark on the world, Kristy and I are focused on positively impacting our local community through our church and several non-profit organizations. We also serve internationally through Sports Outreach Institute, a 501c3 faith-based sports ministry, where I am blessed to serve as Board Chairman.

Things I Enjoy:
  1. Outside of my professional career, I am passionate about international missions and currently serve as Board Chairman for Sports Outreach Institute, an international Christian non-profit organization centered on the relief of human suffering and the alleviation of poverty through faith-based programs.
  2. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor adventure activities that include hiking, camping, hunting, and fly fishing. My wife, Kristy, and I love to travel internationally.
